Preferences

The ‘Modify Preferences’ menu item in the Modify Menu provides you with the ability to change the default preferences for any Notebook application you have already created. Note that Command Set files do not have associated preferences information, so this menu item has no effect on those files. 

When you select this item, a dialog box is displayed with the three checkboxes as ilustrated below. Select the appropriate preferences for the Notebook application, and press the ‘Change’ button (or the ‘Cancel’ button if you change your mind.

Using this ‘Preferences’ menu item, you can also indicate in which corner of your main screen the Notebook icon should be displayed when the Notebook application is switched to the background. If you don't want the Notebook window to be iconised when it's in the background, ensure you select the ‘No Icon’ radio button.
